The Chevrolet Monte Carlo was introduced in 1970. The Monte Carlo proved popular because of its sleek body style and is now eagerly pursued by restorers.

Chevrolet Monte Carlo Upholstery

Seat covers, headliners, door panels, carpets, sun visors etc. are all being made from materials and patterns that guarantee accurate and attractive Chevy Monte Carlo upholstery restoration. There were several different Monte Carlo seat styles, even within the same Chevy year grouping! The restorer should be careful about selecting seat covers which are the same style as his/her original Monte Carlo seats.

Headliners

The Chevrolet Monte Carlo headliner (the interior roof liner) is a molded board to which fabric was applied. The best replacement headliners use modern ABS plastic headliner boards (which are waterproof). These headliners are sold as a unit and are expensive to ship. However the Monte Carlo headliner restorer will find it fairly straightforward (with the aid of a helper) to position and install the new Monte Carlo headliner to the interior roof.
